Can you tell what they are yet?

Yes, I'm really scraping the bottom of the bowl (;^) again today - it's snowing at the moment, so another enforced indoor blip from me.

I was given these as a belated Christmas/New Year present and potted them up on 5th January. I placed them in a cool, dark place and waited for the tiny shoots to emerge - today they are ready to face the light of day and have been moved to a warm and light window sill to grow (and hopefully flower) and fulfil their natural purpose in life, before being planted out in the garden next year.

Can any keen gardeners out there guess what they are?
