Blue Mondays

Yup same title as Andy's. However, I find it very appropriate in this case.

Alarm(s) rang at 6am, turned them off and went back to sleep. Woke up 20 minute before I was meant to be at the bus stop. Oopsies. Rushed to get read, walked to the bus stop and managed to catch a bus quite quickly. However... it took fucking forever to even get out of Leamington, a good 40 minutes? Ridiculous.

Thankfully my lab session at 9am was individually computer based so they didn't mind if people came late. Went over to Ali's house where I spent the rest of the day practically. Lots of talking and decision making.

Made it back to Leamington and to the Duke where a get together dinner turned into 4 tables pulled together with over 20 people. It was great to see everyone and some meet a couple of new people too. We should do this more often. I got a pint of mulled cider for 2 pounds... because the waiter was a new. We did take advantage of him, just a little... Having bought food earlier for dinner, it was so so painful watching everyone eat especially that the concept of the Duke's Blue Mondays is that any meal on the menu is 5 pounds. What the eff. Must go back. Everything looked really good not gonna lie. Ended up running off to cook my dinner.
