Golden Ripples

Mother returned to her exercise class today and after we bought a coffee and drove down the peninsula a little way to enjoy our daily sup from a new outlook. There were some concrete steps leading into the water and the breeze was rippling the gold streaked water lapping at the steps. We were hoping for a seal or a dolphin to pop up but no luck but there was a couple of Southern Rata bushes in bloom and a hopeful seagull to keep us amused.
