Walking up Wood Lane

Slow Monday

I don't feel guilty having worked so hard over the weekend.

Towards the end of my Saturday shoot, someone asked if I was tired.

I wasn't because the adrenaline keeps me going. I've mentally prepared and had a boiled egg for breakfast. The protein releases energy slowly.

Photographing a live event is challenging for the senses. Only about a quarter of your brain can listen to what's being said,
half is involved in looking, seeing and pointing your camera at the action.

The remaining quarter of your brain activity is involved in ever changing quadratic equations, working out what your ideal ISO, shutter speed and
aperture should be for any given shot.
