Molly and the V.E.T

Alfie had a 9 o’clock appointment at the Orthodontist in Cambridge. We allowed an hour to do the (normally) 20 minute journey. 1 hour and 20 minutes later we finally arrived. Traffic in Cambridge was HORRENDOUS! We were only in there about 5 minutes as he just had to pick up his retainers which he’s supposed to wear every night for a year.
We rewarded ourselves with breakfast in Sainsbury’s which was only slightly marred by the woman in front of us in the cafe queue pushing a raw chicken along the rack where you move your tray along. She then sat and ate her breakfast with the raw chicken on the table next to her.
A visit to the vet for Molly this afternoon to check out a large lump under her front leg. The vet stuck a needle in it and confirmed that it’s just a fatty lump and nothing to worry about. Phew!
