Giant's grave

Our Sunday walk was on The Giant's Grave Loop Walk from Cadamstown Co. Offaly, taking in the Giant's grave in Co. Laois.  The 'grave' consists of some very large stones on the ground. Some of our group braved the snow shower to view the information board about the site.  It was a pleasant 10k walk with occasional snow showers, my last one for a while!  With 2k to go, one leg went through a concrete 'bridge' causing ligament strain in the ankle that remained on the path; good walking boots held it all together for the final 2k, which were not without pain.  It could have been a lot worse.
