Not Before Time!

At last they have started work on our stretch of the towpath from Niffany Farm to the park in Skipton. They did all the other sections last year, to the north of us and the south of us but left ours even though it is the only walkable path into Skipton. There is no pavement along the busy main road.
A few weeks ago someone told me they wouldn't be doing our stretch as the money had run out! I was livid and emailed the CRT straightaway telling them how slippy and dangerous the quagmire path is.
After a few days they replied saying that the work will begin very soon.
Today is the day! :-D

Tonight is The Lemon Tree session in Keighley so unless the weather changes drastically we'll go to it.
