Growing a Mushroom?

NO! Growing a Sarracenia.
Apparently some are hardy enough to stand out in our winters; just been to check:- 
"Sarracenia require 3-4 months of winter dormancy triggered by cold temperatures (below 50°F or 10°C) and shorter daylight hours."  
To be honest, I'm not sure, without further checking, whether this includes ≤0˚C?
However; be that as it may. I am assured, by a carnivore group, that my suspicion of an impending flower is correct.
I can't vouch for the ≤10˚C but the kitchen, in fact the house is only heated in chosen rooms; and kitchen is not chosen.

Anyway - it makes a change from orchids?
