Zoute Drop

Dutch  Salted Licorice, this a favourite treat for me and I remember when we would have a Christmas Parcel sent over from Holland from an Uncle and Aunt and Families. In the Parcel would be a Bottle of Dutch Gin for Dad and lots of goodies, biscuits and Chocolate Letters, but the best of all was Zoute Drop and Dubble Zoute Drop ( Double Salted Licorice) was even better.
