Faskally Woods

Another lovely spring day in which I headed over to Faskally Woods and Loch Dunsmore, home each Autum to the Enchanted Forest but enchanting all year round. 

The exposed roots of this tree caught my eye (although I think I am becoming slightly obessed with moss and lichen). I was also accompanied by the sound of birdsong through the woods which was lovely. 

I'm off this evening to the Pitlochry Supper Club - a monthly getogether /opportunity to meet fellow residents. Tonight the archivist from Blair Castle will be speaking which I am looking forward to.
