Chilled Mouse

Last night and this morning were so cold that I was surprised to see there was no snow on the mountains. I came across this mouse huddled in the early sunshine on the path. At first I thought it was dead, or dying, as it didn’t move when I bent close to look at it. The warmth must have revived it because when I returned with my camera it was creeping off among the rocks at the side of the path.
