Wet

Everything is wet. Very wet. It has been raining heavily since before dawn and there are huge puddles everywhere. Surely the river will flood again.
First thing this morning Normous suggested we have lunch out today. I had a Talking Newspaper duty first, but afterwards we splashed our way to a pub we have passed many times, but never tried. The car park was almost full, and we got the last table, as long as we were out within an hour! Amazing to be so busy, on a Thursday lunchtime. We had a good meal. We will go back.
