Have Camera Will Travel

Mrs Gnome.

Early start (well reasonably early for a couple of retirees) car loaded  with dogs, coffee flask, cake all ready to go. Heading out to Guisborough.
Quite a few controlled fires on the moors burning gorse.
Arrived in Guisborough and got caught up in one way system looking for a car park. Headed over to see the Priory (founded 1119)  Beautiful setting with lovely woodland walk. Took loads of photos (see extras) Left the Priory and headed to the bustling town centre, lots of places to eat and was market day. Our doggies were very popular with the locals.
Traveling onwards to Roseberry Topping, we stopped to admire the view and have coffee and cake also took a few more photos. Captain James Cook played here as a boy. Did not walk up today as time getting on.
Then onwards to Stokesley via Great Ayton where we had a lovely walk by the river. We arrived in Stokesley to look at the Packhorse bridge. Very nice village with lots of beautiful houses.
Headed back home via coastal route , tired but very satisfied with our day’s photos (all 240 of them).
