A Rose is a Rose is a Rose...........

What a busy day......  Luncheon with PT Buddies in Gainesville!   It is always a wonderful time, catching up with the buddies!   We figured out today that we were all together 5 years ago, each of us trying to recover from major surgeries and get out wheel chairs, off of crutches, then off of canes, then learning how to  walk up and down stairs again.   Where has the time gone?
But the bond between us is just as strong as ever.  We love to be together, to celebrate our friendships, our accomplishments, and life in general.
The drive home usually takes about 50- 60 minutes.   But today, there was a front coming through that was connected to the  tornados that ripped through Tennessee and killed several people, destroyed many homes, and devastated many communities with some of the strongest tornados seen in that area in several years.
Todays drive home was treacherous!    The tractor trailers were blown across 2 and 3 lanes, doing their best to correct the bend between the tractor and the trailer, but not over correct to get a jack knife the other way! Cars were blown from lane to lane, only to have the wind stop, like a calm, and then blow again.   Palm trees had the palm fronds blown completely over to the other side, brought back, and then snapped off to fly through the air!
It was a much longer drive home, one that I was very glad to have completed and get off that 6 lane freeway.   The girls and I went for a well deserved walk and relaxed.  We found the rose bushes near the Gazebo .   With a strong wind, I held my iPhone in one hand and held the roses still with the other,so a clear shot could be taken.  The photos are straight out of the phone, with only sizing done so I could make the collage.  Therefore I am enjoying the bright red color and my fingers in tonights blip.    It really is very nice to sit on my couch and sip on some sweet and spicy tea....      Ahhhhhhhhh...
