Two (Magnolias) For the Price of One

After a thoroughly irritating day in the wonderful world of technology, I got myself outside to do some weeding in the last bit of sun.

You know, we don't have tv, and I don't listen to the radio. I get most of my news from Blip, don't laugh--there are people all over the world talking about what's happening in their lives, so I don't miss much. I'm keenly aware, for instance,  that the whole world is running out of toilet paper and hand sanitizer. We are being worn down by manufactured crises, by one made up drama after another until we can't tell what's real and what isn't. These flowers are real. And every time I turn into my driveway they make me happy. That's enough for right now.
