Sunshine, Hyde Hall, flowers, birds, great day!

Cold but sunny morning, cloudier in the afternoon.  S and I went to RHS Hyde Hall and then to Essex Wildlife at Hanningfield, with lunch at a garden centre between the two.  So many gorgeous flowers out, not sure what the blip is!  The label underneath said Edgeworthia chrysanthe 'Grandiflora' but not sure that it related to this plant.  Had a lovely time wandering around the garden and also went to the bird hide by the lake.  Nice walk through the woods at the wildlife trust, quite a few bird photos but this was my favourite(extra).  One of those days when too many photos to choose from!  It was really wet underfoot and water running down some of the roads after the day of rain yesterday.
