Seeds of Time

“If you can look into the seeds of time,
And say which grain will grow and which will not,”
Act 1, Scene 3 - Macbeth by William Shakespeare

Foretelling the future is, in this metaphor, like looking at a group of seeds and predicting which will take hold and sprout, and which won’t grow.

The seeds (and sparkly cat hairband) are a gift for my friend’s 3 year old who loves gardening with mummy. I wander how many of these seeds will sprout and what the future holds for this special young lady.

The rain was relentless today and I got drenched in the morning, lunchtime and the evening. So tired of the damp weather.
