Lauren 21

Lauren was 21 on Tuesday. I think at 18 kids are ‘legally adult’ but they’re mostly just playing at being grown ups. By 21 however there’s no refuting it, childhood has passed. I still think of her as my child though, lol, and probably always will. Lauren has grown into a beautiful young woman and we are immensely proud of her, in a multitude of ways.

Tony got out of school early and we drove to Leeds to celebrate and have dinner with her. A lovely evening.

My blip is of the front cover of the photo book we gave her, which she absolutely loved, so it was well worth all the hours sorting through old pictures :-)
