VISITOR

This female goosander (Mergus merganser) was visiting the park today. There has been a male there recently, and she was eyeing up the reeds around the edge, so perhaps they might be around more often.

I drove past our local chippy on the way home and it looked surprisingly empty for a Saturday lunchtime, so I treated us to a bag of chips for lunch. After all, we've all got to support local businesses and keep our spirits up!
