Dancing

This morning's painting from watercolour class. Using some normal watercolours, and some Brusho paints. Brusho is like powdered watercolour paint, in beautiful, rich, saturated colours. All the blue / turquoise is Brusho. The skin, hair, and shadow is all paint. Painting class is going to have an exhibition at the end of term in a few weeks. Me and mum have to enter pictures into it, and we're allowed to put them up for sale!

It was a rushed morning, with a dog to walk and then shopping to get before class. Also, some flowers to drop off at a care home which a friend from church has just moved into. All before 10:00! We bumped into melamny's mum and her granddaughter as we came out of painting class. We didn't stop and chat for long, though, because she was in a hurry.

Also a rather busy afternoon, French homework and cooking some rogan josh curry. Then take the curry in a thermos flask, and leave the house at 3:15 to go to a Christian youth event which starts at 5. The trains get in on the hour, so we have to wait around in Edinburgh for an hour, rather than be ten minutes late! But the Starbucks decaf latte was nice.

The topic was 'feminism and the bible'. I never knew feminism was such a complicated web of ideas and beliefs!
