Visited the Sewing Machine Museum in Tooting today( open on first Saturday of each month only). Huge range of sewing machines including this one. Only 100 of these treadle Singers were produced in 1897 for Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee and members of the public could write in for one, a few were allocated each week by a complicated set of rules.
