Birthday party

We have spent the day helping an old school friend to celebrate her significant birthday. The party was at her daughter’s home. There is a strong South African connection in this family, and there are attractive artefacts everywhere. Lovely pictures, photos , African pictures, all reminded us of our times in Africa. There are three professional chefs in the family so we had a truly delicious lunch. They are a large happy family and it was so kind of them to include us. The icing on the cake for Normous was watching the rugby on their enormous tv in the company of fellow enthusiasts.
