Pilgrim's Path

An incredible day spent on Holy Island. For a long time, it's been a desire of mine to visit Lindisfarne, so I was very happy to finally make that happen.

We had a super day, the weather was glorious and the scenery was wonderful. A very kind photographer told us all the best places to visit, so we took his advice and it paid off.

The sunset wasn't spectacular but the ancient posts sticking out of the sand, added a little interest. These posts mark the way to safely walk across the causeway at low tide. Many people ignore the safety advice and have to be rescued from the advancing surge of water.
