Five!

The little one turns 5! I really can't believe it.

Being a jammy little boy, he managed to swing a day off school on his birthday too, thanks to an abundance of snow overnight. Pretty perfect timing for both a snow day and a birthday if you ask me, plenty time to build and then play with all those lego models he opened first thing.

The breakfast scene might not have been quite so idyllic as this had we been trying to get out the door for 8.40am. I think this photo was taken around 9am and the pj's were still on for at least an other hour.

Now the cards are up and the wrapping paper all collected up and preparations are well underway for the Superhero birthday party on Saturday.
