Now you see it, now you don't.

I've not grown this variety of Crocus -  " Prins Claus"  before and I was beginning to think the flowers were going to rot away before fully opening, luckily this has not happened. There is a large area of Purple colour on the outside of the petals which is not seen when the flower is fully open.
