Not off skiing

Happy birthday to me. Should be in Italy now on the slopes of the Aosta Valley, but instead am in the pub in Kendal. That virus thing has scuppered our trip as Italy is in lockdown and we figured if we went, we may not get back anytime soon. Looks like the resort will be in lockdown by the morning too. Cash lost, holiday lost, skiing on nice Alpine snow lost. Ah well! Is what it is! Cheers
