Shapes and Figures

Rocks and boulders, a stream and reeds. Shapes suggesting changing uses over time  - Gadigal fish traps, factory machines and, for me, a concrete wasteland and figures sloping towards the station and the school. I think Finnish-born artist Ari Purhonen hit the mark with this work on the site of the former Metters Factory.
