Daffodils

I'm so glad that I took the photo of my daffodils this morning when it was still dry.

L was coming over this afternoon to take up the position of chief ladder holder while I climbed up and cleaned out the gutters .... a horrible, dirty job but it has to be done ..... only possible because I live in a bungalow. 

The rain came on not long after we started and it was so cold .... don't remember the last time I felt such pain in my fingers. Wrapping my hands round a warm mug of tea soon helped.
