View of Lake Mead from Kingman Wash

I am 99.99% finished with this new desert painting. I have one or two very tiny touches to add and I can sign it and call it finished. But I plan to post it here and on my painting website. I have to admit that I really love this painting. I feel like I've been coasting awhile and finally have come through to a new plateau. Be sure to take a look of this one large (L).

Today was open studio and I worked all day on this painting. It was great fun to be there with my painting buddies and to work on something that was cooperating and felt good to do. :) It was a good day.
