Snakes in the grass.

They're just starting to flower, the snakes head fritillaries that is and it looks like being a fantastic year for them. My Monday garden has an area of quite wet grass, (doesn't everywhere this year?) and there are lots of theses little gems that increase each year.

Started out as a lovely day but later in the afternoon the rain was back which did change my plan of a bit of gardening at home.
