Clematis armandii

As I record the march of the seasons, much to my pleasure, Spring flowers are bursting out in the garden. The arbor is now covered in clematis blooms, scilla and hyacinth bulbs have joined the crocus choir and the Magnolia stellata is just starting.

It has however mostly been grey, windy and wet.

Had dinner out with Mum & Dad in Stortford before a College concert Tony played in which was pretty good. Their holiday to Japan has been cancelled and they are rather relieved as they no longer wanted to go and this way they’ll get their money back from the insurance company. I wonder if we will be able to go skiing in Breckenridge at the end of the month. The Coronavirus outbreak is concerning, but unlike many we are not panic buying hand sanitiser and loo roll. The Nation has gone mad.
