A sunny start to Sunday

The view this morning looking over the river to St Paul’s Cathedral. The day started with blue skies and sunshine unfortunately it didn’t last and we got soaked later walking down the embankment.
A late lunch in Covent Garden watching the rugby a good win for Scotland, we then headed over to Euston and watched the first half of the Manchester Derby our plan to wander down to the platform at half time and watch the second half on my phone on the train! Good job we were so early as our train had been cancelled and we were advised to catch the earlier one, which was about to leave the station! A bit of a dash but thankfully there was plenty of space and we got home safely, because the problem was affecting the ‘fast rails’ (according to the train announcement) it meant we were slightly later back than we should’ve been. By the time we got home I was feeling yuk! I just thought it was tiredness after a busy week last week then a busy weekend in London so we got in around 20.30 and I virtually went straight to bed!
