Anne's Daily Encounters

Keritis River

This river a year ago had become a wild flow of waters, destroying two bridges crossing it. The bridge at Platanias has been replaced with a proper new bridge, wide enough for the opposing drive-ways of cars and busses; I took this blip from that bridge.... 200 metres aside from the sea.
The other bridge what's the entrance to the village of Alikianos, was replaced with a drive way across the low river-bed. I suppose that's still the situations there now, and they were lucky this Winter did not bring a deluge like last year did

The sky was gorgeous today with those clouds from which at intervals a little drizzle fell down.
