walking in big shoes

some days ago on my way to sanskrit class, I discovered a new charming part of Mysore, the Gangotri layout. It has a peaceful small-village-like atmosphere. A small place with a temple, some cows and a tea shop at the corner, cramped alleyways with small houses in all colours and the smell of homemade curries. Time seems to go slower in this part of the city.

I caught a shot of this young boy, who had some big shoes to fill. Actually I didn't notice the big slippers when I took the photo, my focus of attention was the colourful alleyway at 8th cross, with the clotheslines on the rooftops.

Probably my last India-blip for a while...
