Chateau de Nyon

This superbly restored castle is about 15 minutes drive from where we live, just over the border in Switzerland.
The first castle was built on this site in the 12th century, the current structure dates from the 16th century.
It overlooks Lake Geneva with superb views accross to the Alps.
