Wild Snakes

After lunch we went for a walk into Shottery.  We went via Shottery Brook Walk which conveniently ends up at Hathaway Tea Rooms. Taking advantage of this we popped in for an afternoon coffee; the place was quite empty, I think the virus is going to hit shops and cafes as far as customers are concerned.  Having said that we saw two tourist coaches turn up at Anne Hathaway's Cottage, I guess if you've paid your money.....

I like Shottery Brook Walk as it is quite wild, though there is a footpath through the woods.  There are large snowdrops, primroses and crocus growing, as well as snake's head, these were in a particularly wild bit, ideal for today's Wild Wednesday hosted by Cailleach.

The extra is taken from the not so wild tea room's garden.  Catkins with the cottage in the background.
