Burns Monument

We went shopping this morning; the first big shop for a fortnight and found that some products such as rice, pasta and flour were noticeably diminished in stock whereas all other foods seemed normal. However, toilet rolls had been decimated; wtf, do people think they’ll need more loo paper in the next wee while? Bizarre. This afternoon I took a tram to town and then wandered around Waterloo Place and Holyrood; it was bright but not sunny. In keeping with yesterday’s blip, today’s monument is to Robbie Burns and is by Regent Road.
