Black Guillemot

I Bliped the lighthouse at coronation park Port Glasgow last week, I could not believe that very day it was cleaned and painted! Today has been the first reasonable day that would have allowed me to reshoot it in all its newly gleaming glory but this Black Guillemot was perched n the quay wall and it was too good an opportunity to pass up.

He was flapping his head and screeching trying to shake off a small piece of down in his beak which if you look closely you can just about see
