Kayak

I went Kayaking with a friend today. It was a spur of the moment decision. We paddled from my friends house on the Darling River to another friends house, stopped for a cuppa, then paddled home again. I was able to track our paddle using my GPS fitness tracker. We paddled 5.2km.
This is a picture of part of the river we paddled from my river map book.
I should add that there is a fair part of the Darling River system that is bone dry at the moment. However we paddled not too far from the confluence with the Murray River, so the water we paddled in is back flow from the Murray.
