Ducks ...

.... and swans out of water.

These two swans have been living at the side of the pond for over two months now: the resident pair wont let them in the water.   The SSPCA have been contacted but haven't intervened - I guess because they are not in immediate danger. 

Like everybody now waiting & wondering what the next few days will bring  .... was pleasantly suprised by how well the local co-op was stocked when I visited earlier today.
