WI Sedbergh Bookclub

A cold windy and occasionally wet day. I had my Sedbergh Bookclub meeting today. We had been reading The Choice by Edith Eger. She survived Auschwitz as a teenager. It’s an amazing story. I felt it was like reading three books. She told the story about ending up in, and getting back from Auschwitz. The second part is how she dealt with that. The third part was looking at the stories of some of her patients (she is a psychiatrist). A very interesting book, and very harrowing.
