Diversion

... from the norm this evening: going out to tea with a friend and former long-standing colleague (and leaving work considerably earlier than any other day this week!) It was lovely to catch up at the end of what was a frustrating day at times. 

Another diversion to the evening with a walk to drop off the favourite's birthday present. Due to the road works, dropping something off in the car is not as straightforward as it usually is. Bailey was very happy about the diversion and I got a blip on the way back of a currently defunct sign.
