Are we home yet?

Max and Minnie, two hot dogs on the way back from that great adventure which is Walkies in a local park (but not so local that we don't need the car to get there first). They are the only remaining 5-year old "pups" of a litter of 5 from our other dog Holly. Minnie has a missing lower tooth from her strange habit of opening heavy doors with her teeth rather than using a paw like the others do. They won't look so cheerful when they discover they have a check-up at the vet's this afternoon... I should really have blipped Max's expression when the thermometer gets placed where the sun don't shine, but I know I'll need both hands just to keep him on the table and his teeth from around the vet's wrist.
