Out and About

Early morning hike

This morning I did might hike at 6am because I had to drive my parents to Spokane to fly back to Los Angeles, a good six hour drive. The night before, my friend, Kim, and I hatched the plan that we would get up and do the hike at 6am. At 5:30, Kim texted me and said, "It's 32 degrees outside and dark!" I texted back, "I'm fully dressed and ready to go.

The moon was out and we didn't even need a flashlight to do the hike. We got up and back in under an hour. In the dark, we talked about the Covid-19 virus and death. Gloomy dark in the early morning.

We looked down on our city from the Dry Gulch dam and I got this shot.
