Wonderful working environment

It's really fun to work in a Science Center, you learn everyday something new and interesting. Today we were talking about space and vacuum. Human can (probably) survive in vacuum for about 30 seconds, there has been an incident in Nasa where an astronaut has survived from some kind of low pressure accident (near vacuum) which took about 20 seconds.

Another interesting thing that I realized was the temperature of space (vacuum). Normally you would imagine that it is really cold there, but actually there is no temperature in space, because there is no matter in space. After realizing this I really felt stupid. And about space suits, the temperature is then a problem just because the heat can be lost only by thermal radiation or by conduction to objects in physical contact with the space suit. Meaning that it might get pretty hot inside a space suit after while.
