Awaiting some green

A lovely day today ... finally less wind. Perfect.  I was delighted to see that the hedges are finally about to burst into growth as you can see in the extra. 
We had some friends over for supper tonight.. it was very good to catch up with them ... they have had quite a year and we havent seen them since Christmas.  Poor things are in the throws of organising their daughters wedding for late May and now thinking it might perhaps not go ahead as they had planned.. the venue may well not be able to host the event if this virus gets a good hold... so hard to know what to expect and how to plan.. they have a contingency plan with just 7 people involved.. that is if they can get time off... she is a high dependency nurse and he is a doctor.. fingers crossed for them.
