The Veiled Vines.....

A glorious sunny day after a cool start. Maisie and I did a longer walk early this morning. We walked to the Meadowbank Station bridge, crossed the river via stepping stones and took a look at the veiled vines in the Wither Hills Wine Company vineyard. There are holes in some sections of netting.... No doubt small birds will find their way in to feast on the ripening grapes. Maisie can be seen trespassing between rows of vines. Family members are here from Marahau, Nelson. A great fun evening around the dinner table tonight.
