Silence of the Lambs

I'm very puzzled.  Where are all the lambs?  At the back end of last year I blipped one of many very pregnant sheep in the fields behind our house.  Now we have no sheep that are obviously pregnant and yet no lambs either even in the big sheds at the farm.  They surely don't go off to market that quickly; or do they?
