Edinburgh - Isle of Islay

At 4.30am M and I started to drive to Kennacraig to take the 9.30am ferry to Port Ellen. We tried to find a petrol station that's open at this time of the night but sadly we had to drive a bit longer than I thought! Thankfully we did not run out of petrol which would have been a disaster lol. Arrived at Kennacraig we waited around 30 mins and then we boarded the ferry. Fab! Easy peasy! Arrived on Isle of Islay we had lunch then checked out the b&b and went for a wee drive then pub in Bruichladdich for a few drinks and dinner. We had such a great time with some English tourists and the bartender. Route done today see additional picture.
