Stump

All that's left of the massive tree that was at the corner of the fence of the B&B. I blipped the gate on the right in my other journal a few days ago.
We saw a hydro crew cutting it down when we were on our way to town yesterday. G suspected that it was rotten and dangerous. He was right - see the extra.
Really high winds today and very cold. I waited until 11am before going for a walk, hoping that it might warm up. No such luck! It was 1 degree and there was no warmth in the sun when it appeared now and then. It was conducive to a brisk walk for sure!  I thought it would be a lovely day to ski - and what appeared in the sky but a skier!  I do have a good imagination.
